The Kansas City Chiefs saw enough of Joey Ivie in Week 11 and, consequently, decided to release him to make room for new talent on the roster. The Tennessee Titans apparently saw enough of Joey Ivie in that same game, as the Chiefs opponent, to bring him in for a workout.
The Chiefs released Ivie in the wake of their shocking loss to the Titans and signed defensive end Demone Harris away from the Baltimore Ravens practice squad to take his place. The Chiefs are experimenting with players along the defensive front who can help in the wake of injuries to Breeland Speaks, Xavier Williams, and Alex Okafor.
