The Kansas City Chiefs announced a series of surprise roster moves on Tuesday afternoon, via their official Twitter account.

We placed C Jordan Devey and LB Terrance Smith on Injured Reserve.

We promoted C James Murray and TE Deon Yelder from the practice squad to the 53-man roster.

Offensive lineman Jordan Devey, who started for the Chiefs at right guard and then center, the past two weeks, respectively, heads to injured reserve.
