Chiefs running back Spencer Ware was cleared to practice Wednesday following concussion protocol.
Ware failed the second phase of concussion testing after leaving the Chiefs’ 30-14 win over Indianapolis on Oct. 30. He did not play in Sunday’s win over Jacksonville.
Ware has rushed 102 times for 511 yards and two touchdowns, including seven rushes for 19 yards against Indianapolis. He was replaced after his injury by backup Charcandrick West — the team leader in rushing last year with 634 yards — who rushed 14 times for 52 yards against the Colts.
Chiefs coach Andy Reid said Jaye Howard (hip) and Jeremy Maclin (groin strain) will not practice Wednesday.
