The Kansas City Chiefs and linebacker Drue Tranquill reached agreement on a three-year, $19 million deal that includes $13 million fully guaranteed, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter on Thursday.
Tranquill joined the Chiefs last season as a free agent after four years with the Los Angeles Chargers and was a key piece of Kansas City's Super Bowl run. He started eight games during the regular season and had 4.5 sacks to finish fifth on the team and first among its linebackers.
Tranquill played in all four of the Chiefs' postseason games during their run to the title, with one start.
