The Chiefs have lost guard Parker Ehinger for the season due to a torn anterior cruciate ligament, a source confirmed to The Star on Tuesday.
Ehinger left the Chiefs’ 30-14 win over the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday with what coach Andy Reid called a knee sprain. Ehinger was spotted leaving the locker on crutches with a large brace on his knee.
Ehinger, a fourth-round pick this year, was replaced by Zach Fulton. Fulton has started 25 games in his three-year career, including three this season.
Ehinger’s rookie season ends with five games and four starts under his belt.
