Snap counts show interesting numbers for Chiefs at outside linebacker

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The playing rotation used by the Kansas City Chiefs at outside linebacker for their playoff win over the Houston Texans was interesting and may look similar to the one they use Saturday in the divisional round against the Patriots in New England.

Pro Bowlers Justin Houston and Tamba Hali, as well as Dee Ford and Frank Zombo, were part-time players against the Texans. Houston played 44 of Kansas City’s 64 defensive snaps (69 percent), Ford 35 snaps (55 percent), Zombo 33 snaps (52 percent) and Hali 15 snaps (23 percent).
