Under cloudy, rainy skies, the Kansas City Chiefs are hosting the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for “Monday Night Football” on GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium, hoping to not only extend their 2024 record to 8-0, but also set a franchise record by winning 14 consecutive games. Kansas City hasn’t dropped a game since their 20-14 defeat to the Las Vegas Raiders last Christmas Day.
First quarter
The Buccaneers won the opening coin toss, and deferred the decision to the second half. That put the Chiefs in position to start with the ball on the 30-yard line after a touchback.
