A camp competition will be brewing for the Kansas City Chiefs' starting left tackle spot in 2024. The two candidates will be rookie Kingsley Suamataia and second-year player Wanya Morris.
Many fans are clamoring for Suamataia to take the role and run with it, but Morris has the advantage of experience — he started four games in 2024 — and in a highly complex offense such as Kansas City’s, this could pay dividends.
Due to the nature of the NFL, it seems inevitable that Morris will see the field at some point in 2024, but it will come down to his performance in training camp and the preseason that will decide if he is ready to take on the full-time starting job.
