After being inactive for the past two games, Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Sammy Watkins returned to practice on Wednesday. Watkins has been dealing with a foot injury that has kept him sidelined for the previous two games. Although they’re still treating it gingerly, Watkins was able to return to practice today and practice, albeit as a limited participant.
Along with Watkins, Chiefs star safety Eric Berry, who has yet to play in a game this season, was also a limited participant. Last week saw Berry’s return to practice, who hadn’t done so since August 11th.
