One of the best parts of the NFL Draft is watching the players get “the call.”
The tradition has grown even more special recently in Kansas City, with the Chiefs in the golden era of their franchise.
Not only does the player on the other end of the line know he is now a pro football player, but he also finds out he’s playing for head coach Andy Reid and two-time MVP Patrick Mahomes. That instantly means he will be competing for Super Bowls.
