Unless injuries complicate things, the roster decisions for the Kansas City Chiefs this year don’t look difficult at many positions. Barring injuries, the Chiefs look set in some areas and close to set in others.
A notable exception is in the secondary, where the Chiefs have 18 players. Ten of those defensive backs are new to the Chiefs this season. Eight are rookies, including three draft picks, and the other two didn’t play a snap in the NFL last season. One of their veteran cornerbacks, Jamell Fleming, has moved to safety while another, Marcus Cooper, has played both positions in offseason practice.
