KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The emergence of Tyreek Hill as a consistent threat has obscured the good work being done by some of the Kansas City Chiefs’ other rookies, most notably defensive tackle Chris Jones. The Chiefs’ top pick has played so well he’d be a lock for Chiefs’ rookie of the year in most other seasons.
Pro Football Focus selected Jones as its choice among the Chiefs for a player who has yet to be selected for a Pro Bowl, but will at some point in his career. That’s a good choice, particularly since many of Kansas City’s other good, younger players (think Hill, Marcus Peters and Travis Kelce) have already been selected for a Pro Bowl.
