Rookie CB Marcus Peters already making a difference in secondary

Kansas City Chiefs rookie cornerback Marcus Peters was widely regarded as having the draft's highest-ceiling for a press corner and if his first two weeks is any indication, the ceiling may be too high to see at this moment.

Peters has given up 14 receptions on 27 targets and is the team’s leader for pass breakups with seven.

“It’s paying attention to the small details, how many steps they take in their routes,” Peters said, via the Kansas City Star.

“It’s just something that gradually grows on you, and for me, it just comes from being around the game of football a lot.
