Coming in at No. 4on my top 5 seasons with Andy Reid is the head coach’s very first season in Kansas City. It was quite a turnaround from the previous season under former head coach Romeo Crennel, whom ended his short tenure with a 2-14 dud. But Reid also wasn’t taking over a completely talentless roster, as the Chiefs sent 6 players to the Pro Bowl in 2012.
Reid began the year addressing K.C.’s most critical position of need trading for quarterback Alex Smith from the San Francisco 49ers. Thus officially beginning the ‘Reid and Smith era’.
