According to multiple reports, the New York Jets have requested to interview current Kansas City Chiefs offensive coordinator Matt Nagy for their vacant head coaching position.
Nagy, 46, began his professional coaching career working as an intern under Andy Reid with the Philadelphia Eagles in 2008, later becoming Kansas City’s quarterbacks coach when Reid moved to Kansas City in 2013. Promoted to offensive coordinator for the 2016 and 2017 seasons, Nagy’s work with the Chiefs led to his first head coaching role with the Chicago Bears in 2018.
