The Kansas City Chiefs worked out free agent tight end Clive Walford on Monday, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
Walford, 26, is a 6-foot-4, 250-pounder who originally entered the league as a third-round pick in 2015 made by the Oakland Raiders. Walford spent 2018 training camp and preseason with the New York Jets before being waived at the 53-man roster deadline.
In 44 games over three years (2015-17) as a Raider, Walford compiled 70 receptions for 768 yards and six touchdowns. In six career games against the Chiefs, Walford had 15 catches for 158 yards.
