According to a report from ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Kansas City Chiefs are placing the franchise tag on their free-agent left tackle Orlando Brown Jr. for the 2022 season.
Kansas City Chiefs are franchise tagging OT Orlando Brown, per league sources. Brown becomes the first free-agent-to-be this off-season known to be getting the franchise tag.

This move has been expected ever since Kansas City traded a package of draft picks to the Baltimore Ravens in order to acquire Brown just before the 2021 NFL Draft.
