Red-zone woes plague Chiefs in victory over Bears

CHICAGO – Some of the preseason momentum the Kansas City Chiefs built with their starting offense fizzled in Saturday’s 23-7 victory over the Chicago Bears. Things specifically went awry for the Chiefs inside the Chicago 20, where the starters came away with just one touchdown in three trips. Even the touchdown drive wasn’t without its share of drama.

QB depth chart: Alex Smith started and played one series of the third quarter. He was replaced by Nick Foles and then Aaron Murray and, in the fourth quarter, Kevin Hogan.
