The Los Angeles Rams didn’t advance as far as they wanted in the playoffs, falling in the Wild Card round, but they are the clear winners of this year’s 101 Awards. The Rams swept all three categories in the NFC.
After the team went from 4-12 in 2016 to 11-5 in 2017, first-year coach Sean McVay won coach of the year honors, while running back Todd Gurley was chosen offensive player of the year and defensive tackle Aaron Donald was selected as defensive player of the year.
The other winners are: Jacksonville Jaguars coach Doug Marrone, AFC coach of the year; Pittsburgh Steelers receiver Antonio Brown, AFC offensive player of the year; Jacksonville Jaguars defensive end Calais Campbell, AFC defensive player of the year.
