Chiefs coach Andy Reid said Monday that quarterback Alex Smith is expected to start Sunday at Carolina.
“He’ll be back in as long as there are no setbacks,” Reid said at a news conference Monday.
Reid said that Smith had no signs of concussion last week with no headaches or dizziness.
As for linebacker Justin Houston’s return, Reid said: “We’ll see. We’ll see how he does this week.”
