QB play a highlight as Chiefs conclude training camp

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. -- The Kansas City Chiefs finished the Missouri Western State University portion of training camp on Wednesday feeling as though they have no weak link among their top three quarterbacks.

Starter Alex Smith had a strong camp. Rookie Patrick Mahomes II showed the Chiefs enough that they felt comfortable in bumping him up to the No. 2 quarterback. And the Chiefs appear to have some confidence that they could win some games if they have to turn to their third quarterback, Tyler Bray.

That might be the takeaway of Chiefs camp 2017.
