Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Chase Daniel was in the zone on Saturday, completing 17 of 21 for 189 yards and three touchdowns while taking advantage of the extended playing time against the Cardinals.
Daniel is highly thought of by the team as eveidenced by his $4.8 million salary in 2015, but he showed that he could have more value than first perceived.
The signal caller said that this is his time to show what he has before starts Alex Smith starts eating up most of the playing time.
"Yeah, it’s super important — it’s game time man, you’re not hitting yourself anymore,” Daniel said, via Kansas City.
