On Friday night, that latest accomplishment earned him a spot on political commentator Bill O’Reilly’s “The O'Reilly Factor.”
"It's never too late for Americans to improve themselves in the marketplace," O'Reilly explained on the program. "Case and point, pro football player Bobby Bell, who a few weeks ago achieved his college degree at the age of 74."
Bell told O’Reilly and the audience why it meant so much for him to get it done.
"The reason I went back is because I promised my dad that if I went to the University of Minnesota, which gave me a scholarship, that I was going to get my degree up there.
