KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The 1-0 Kansas City Chiefs, with three more days of rest than their opponent, have plenty to be encouraged about in looking ahead to Sunday's game against the 1-0 Philadelphia Eagles at Arrowhead Stadium.
The Chiefs went on the road last week to defeat the defending Super Bowl champion New England Patriots, winning by 15 points despite not tapping into all of their strengths. The Chiefs didn't get a big play on special teams, they failed to force a turnover and even finished the game minus-1 in giveaway/takeaway and they didn't get any meaningful production from tight end Travis Kelce.
