Wiegmann was a mainstay along the Kansas City offensive line for nine seasons, which included two different stints with the Chiefs. Although he never made a Pro Bowl with the team, the Parkersburg, Iowa native started every game of those nine years in red and gold except for one, making him one of the most durable centers to ever play for the team.
