The Kansas City Chiefs already had a pass defense worth bragging about. In 2014, the Chiefs ranked second in the league in passing yards allowed (3,252) and opponent's completion percentage (58.3), and were the only NFL team to not allow a 50-yard pass all season. Given another year of growth and development, as well as some new faces, and the Chiefs' secondary should be very stout.
One of the players earning the most buzz is Phillip Gaines. The Chiefs selected Gaines in the third round of the 2013 NFL Draft, and he made tremendous strides throughout the season.
