The Kansas City Chiefs had a whopping four members of this year’s first-team All-Pro offense as announced today by The Associated Press.
Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, wide receiver Tyreek Hill, right tackle Mitch Schwartz and tight end Travis Kelce were all named to the AP’s first-team unit, a tremendous honor that matters far more than Pro Bowl to players and Hall of Fame voters for its exclusivity.
For Mahomes, it’s an obvious first appearance on an NFL All-Pro team given it’s his first year starting in the NFL. He’s expected to also take home the NFL’s Most Valuable Player award when announced, rewards all for a memorable year from the quarterback.
