The Kansas City Chiefs reportedly struck first when reaching out to the representatives for Orlando Scandrick shortly after he was released by the Washington Redskins, per Ian Rapoport.
The Chiefs have expressed interest in adding a potential cornerback during training camp with the recent visit from Bashaud Breeland. While Breeland is still waiting to make his decision, taking multiple visits even after his stop in K.C., the team is apparently not waiting for him to make up his mind by reaching out immediately after Scandrick was waived.
Scandrick is a 9-year NFL veteran who has never played outside of Dallas where he’s served as a valuable and versatile contributor in the Cowboys’ secondary for most of the last decade.
