The Kansas City Chiefs made it official on Tuesday, announcing that guard Jeff Allen will have a third stint with the Chiefs in 2019.
To make room for Allen, the Chiefs waived guard Abdul Beecham.
According to NFL Insider Adam Caplan, the Chiefs are signing Allen to a one-year deal. No contract details are yet available.
Allen, 29, originally entered the league with the Chiefs when they selected him in the second round of the 2012 NFL Draft. Allen spent 2012 to 2015 with the team before signing a four-year deal with the Houston Texans back in 2016.
