The Oakland Raiders have firmed up their offensive line depth with the addition of former Kansas City Chiefs lineman Jordan Devey, per Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk. Terms of the one-year deal were not disclosed.
Devey has been a nice backup for the Chiefs since he was claimed on waivers from the San Francisco 49ers back in the spring of 2016. In that time, he appeared in 17 games for the Chiefs, starting four of them, playing snaps as both center and right guard.
Devey weighs in at 6’6, 320 lbs. and might have an opportunity to compete for meaningful minutes on a Raiders offensive front in transition.
