Since 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick this preseason began a pregame protest of racial oppression and inequality in the United States by sitting down and then kneeling during the national anthem, several NFL players across the league have joined him. Here are the players who protested in Week 2:
San Francisco 49ers: Kaepernick and safety Eric Reid again knelt for the national anthem before Sunday’s game against the Panthers as their protest continues. Safety Antoine Bethea and linebacker Eli Harold again held up their right fists during the anthem, while cornerback Rashard Robinson and safety Jaquiski Tartt joined them.
