The Kansas City Chiefs looked like they might be interested in adding a new slot receiver into the mix to replace the departed Albert Wilson when they had free agent wideout Kendall Wright visit last week. Instead, Wright when on to continue his visits with the Minnesota Vikings when no contract offer was extended or reached and that’s where he signed in the end.
The Vikings’ deal with Wright was announced on Friday, meaning that if the Chiefs are going to add a new wide receiver in free agency, it’s going to be a name not previously connected to the team.
