NFL Draft 2017: WR Amba Etta-Tawo compared to Chris Conley

The Kansas City Chiefs already have one young, speedy, physical receiver on the roster in Chris Conley. They might be interested in another. Amba Etta-Tawo is a one-year Syracuse product after transferring from Maryland, but he made a significant impact in that single season with 94 catches for 1,482 yards and 14 touchdowns.

The knock on Etta-Tawo is that he’s largely a one-year wonder which raises red flags many times that the player might not be set for long-term success, rather more of a product of a system’s scheme and emphasis. That definitely applies in Etta-Tawo’s case for some scouts, but the raw physical tools are most certainly in place and could intrigue the right team with a later pick if they can project him to be productive down the road.
