The Kansas City Chiefs will follow the typical protocol expected from NFL Draft festivities when they announce their picks on Thursday and Friday nights as rounds one through three unfold, respectively. On Day 3, however, the Chiefs will allow the event arena to change to Whiteman Air Force Base, located near Knob Noster, Missouri, about 70 miles from Kansas City.
In addition to creating a lively environment with the team’s cheerleaders, former players, current players, KC Wolf and more, the Chiefs will also invite a handful of servicemen and servicewomen to make the team’s several selections during the draft’s final four rounds.
