NFL Draft 2017: Deshone Kizer visits Kansas City Chiefs

Mel Kiper Jr. believes that Notre Dame quarterback Deshone Kizer could fall all the way to No. 27 overall to the Kansas City Chiefs, going by his latest mock draft. Apparently the Chiefs agree that it could happen given that the team recently brought in Kizer for an official visit to Arrowhead Stadium, only one of 30 such allowed visits.

Kizer is a newer mention among first round quarterbacks who might fall that far. Typically this offseason, mock drafts have kept Kizer and Mitchell Trubisky near the top of the draft, which means the names mocked to the Chiefs are typically Deshaun Watson and Patrick Mahomes of Clemson and Texas Tech, respectively.
