As the Kansas City Chiefs continue to interview prospects in the upcoming 2017 NFL Draft class, they continue to meet with young offensive tackles, perhaps in hopes of finding a quality swing tackle to back-up the current starting bookends of Eric Fisher and Mitchell Schwartz. Tyler Catalina from the University of Georgia is the latest prospect to be interviewed.
Catalina recently performed at Georgia’s pro day as he hopes to complete his jump from starting for three years at the University of Rhode Island to a one-year transfer starter at Georgia to the NFL level. He started every game at left tackle last season for Georgia, and scouts quickly noted the strengths and weaknesses he brought to the level.
