The NFL has decided to cancel the annual supplemental draft for this season.
The National Football League has decided against holding its annual supplemental draft for the 2020 season.
According to NFL reporter Tom Pelissero, the league held discussions with the NFL Management Council Executive Committee and determined that the draft would not be held. According to Pelissero, the collective bargaining agreement is an elective event instead of a mandatory annual occurrence, so it makes sense for the league to cancel any such plans at this point.
