New Kansas City Chiefs safety Stevie Brown wasn't in the league last season but spent his time rehabbing and training at a facility in Houston.
"Missing last year was kind of a blessing," Brown told the KC media on a conference call on Monday. "It allowed me to get healthy and get everything right."
Brown signed a one-year deal with the Chiefs last weekend. He spoke with former Chief Quintin Demps, his former Giants teammate, as he joined the Chiefs and got a good scouting report on Andy Reid and the organization.
Brown's career has been up and down but the highlight was the 2012 season when he had eight interceptions.
