The 2015 NFL season is right around the corner, but first, the players and coaches get a month off — and Justin Houston is putting it to good use.
Over the weekend, the Kansas City Chiefs’ star outside linebacker hosted the Justin Houston Charity Weekend in his hometown of Statesboro, Ga.
The weekend included a free youth football camp at his old high school, which attracted about 250 kids and more than 20 NFL football players, including Chiefs running back Knile Davis, Chiefs defensive end Allen Bailey and former Chiefs safety Kendrick Lewis.
