Linebacker Nick Bolton is back at training camp in St. Joseph, beginning what will be the fourth and final year of his rookie contract with the Kansas City Chiefs.
Time flies when you’re having fun — and the former 2021 second-rounder out of the University of Missouri has had a lot of it. During his rookie season, Bolton learned under the tutelage of former MIKE linebacker Anthony Hitchens.
Hitchens passed the torch in 2022, and Bolton seized the opportunity, becoming a glue guy for defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo to the tune of 180 tackles (108 solo) and finding a forever moment against the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LVII.
