Kansas City Chiefs second-round center Mitch Morse has been starting at center over Eric Kush at Chiefs training camp and the team is seriously considering inserting the rookie into the starting lineup.
Morse said he has to improve in picking up blitzes, the Chiefs continue to give him first-team reps and seems to be gaining more traction.
"It has its challenges," said Morse, via ESPN.
"But the great thing I believe is that to get better, you have to be thrown into the fire."
"All these guys are consistently good pass-rushers," he said.
