The New York Giants are looking to add some more competition for the backup quarterback spot behind starter Daniel Jones, and a familiar face for Kansas City Chiefs fans is drawing the team’s interest. Former Chiefs quarterback Matt Moore is rumored to be a free agent target for the Giants, per Ralph Vacchiano.
Right now, former Chiefs quarterback Alex Tanney is the primary option for the Giants if something happens to Jones. Adding Moore would give them another veteran for preseason competition, and Moore performed admirably for Kansas City in relief of Patrick Mahomes when called upon.
