The quarterback Patrick Mahomes is the talk of the town but, if things go according to plan, he shouldn’t be a factor in 2017. If he practices well off the bat and develops relationships with some of the players on this roster, like Demarcus Robinson, fans may be screaming for him to get playing time earlier than expected. Expect Andy Reid to keep Mahomes on the sidelines until Reid deems him ready to command this offense.
Likewise, the rest of the draft class will be developmental players for the most part. The one lone exception who to get playing time early is running back Kareem Hunt.
