The Kansas City Chiefs have to be temporarily satisfied with a win at home over the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday, but they will also be dealing with a number of injuries moving forward. Perhaps the biggest loss of the day, injury-wise, is that of Laurent Duvernay-Tardif.
Tardif reportedly fractured his fibula, per head coach Andy Reid, an injury suffered during the Week 5 win. Reid noted he will be able to return this season so it’s not season-ending but it will take considerable time for LDT to return.
The Chiefs have been fairly lucky when it comes to injuries through the first month of the season.
