Kelcie McCray was once a very welcome (and regular) sight at Arrowhead Stadium as a member of the Kansas City Chiefs secondary. Those days might circle back around with word that the veteran safety worked out for the Chiefs on Monday, per Aaron Wilson.
McCray was once another piece of evidence that John Dorsey was excellent at finding underappreciated talent in both the draft and free agency, especially in the secondary where he would unearth players like McCray, Tyvon Branch, Husain Abdullah and the like and watch them transform into meaningful players in sub packages on defense as well as special teams.
