The Kansas City Chiefs finished their “bye week” of practice on Friday before heading into the media storm that is Super Bowl LIV.
With the end of the week upon them, the Chiefs put out their injury report which included using game designations (even though there is no game on Sunday). Notably, they included designations for two members of the team—one a critical member of the defense that will be necessary to stop the San Francisco 49ers in upcoming Super Bowl LIV.
Safety Jordan Lucas did not practice on Thursday or Friday due to the illness that has been sweeping through not only the Chiefs’ locker room, but the entirety of the NFL.
