One of the more popular theories regarding the draft approach for the Kansas City Chiefs is that they’ll refill the secondary, specifically at cornerback, with some long-term potential and maybe even heavy investments. For their part, the Chiefs are at least interviewing the right candidates to fill those roles in the run up to next week’s 2020 NFL Draft.
The latest name linked to the Chiefs is San Diego State cornerback Luq Barcoo. Last season, Barcoo led every defender in college football with 9 interceptions in 13 games with the Aztecs. He also batted away another 16 passes and showed a strong knack for making plays on the ball.
