The Kansas City Chiefs invested heavily in the offensive future of their franchise when they selected quarterback Patrick Mahomes from Texas Tech in the first round and running back Kareem Hunt from Toledo in the third round. The duo will be playing together for the next four seasons, at least, in Kansas City, and it seems as if Mahomes has taken the initiative to get to know Hunt more as they’re part of the same rookie class.
Hunt told reporters during the Chiefs first day of rookie minicamp that Mahomes had texted him to reach out and say hello.
