The Kansas City Chiefs have finally activated Daniel Sorensen from injured reserve, bringing some much-needed help to the safety position heading into the stretch run of the regular season.
In a related roster move and in order to make room for Sorensen, the Chiefs released outside linebacker Nate Orchard. Orchard was signed by Brett Veach when the Chiefs had lost both Tanoh Kpassagnon and Justin Houston to injury weeks ago.
Sorensen broke his fibula in the preseason and went on injured reserve with a likelihood of returning this season for the Chiefs.
