It’s becoming clear that one of the primary areas Brett Veach wanted to address before the regular season began was defensive line. Not only did he recently sign Roy Miller and release Montori Hughes, but now he’s added another new face to the competition heading into the team’s first preseason game on Friday in Maurice Swain.
Swain joins a crowded defensive line on the depth chart that not only includes the newly signed Miller but also features Chris Jones, Rakeem Nunez-Roches, Jarvis Jenkins, Ricky Ali’ifua, Bennie Logan, Cam Thomas, Allen Bailey, Tanoh Kpassagnon and David King. That’s a lot of rotational bodies to consider in the upcoming preseason game.
